Gospel Light Baptist Church is a Church Plant that was started by Pastor Jr Avila, his Wife, Lisandra and our sending church, Liberty Baptist Church in Newport Beach, CA and our sending Pastor, Pastor Dwight Tomlinson. Our first service was held on October 5, 2008, Services where held at The Elk's Lodge of Santa Ana. We had a total of 85 people attended services that day, with 5 trusting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

 

 

The first week of December 2008, we decided to begin to hold Sunday Morning Service in our living room. From December 2008 until the first week of May 2009, we enjoyed hosting the Sunday Morning Services in our home.  Due to the growth of our church and God’s blessings, we no long had room in our home. On the second week of May 2009, we began to meet in our own place.
